Sometimes referred to as a 2 lite slider, this window style is is typically used for window openings where the width is greater than the height.
Often, you'll find these windows in showers.
Sometimes, you can replace 2 'hung' windows with a single 2 panel horizontal roller, which can save a few $ on your project.
Picture Window

While there are many different sub-types of picture windows. The classic picture window is square or rectangular, and does not open.
They're typically found above doors, and other hard to reach places where opening the window is unnecessary.
Awning Windows

Single Hung Arch Top

This window combines a single-hung window with an arched top.
Often times, original window openings have a half-circle window mulled on top of a single hung window.
While this is one of the more expensive window styles, it very often is less expensive than replacing two windows.
Double Hung

3 Panel Horizontal Roller

Similar to it's 2 panel counter part, this window style has 3 different panels.
This window can be used to replace 2 or more windows in an opening. The center panel is fixed, while the 2 side panels slide open.
Typical configurations include 25 | 50 | 25, or 33 | 33 | 33
